What equipment do you use?

I have 2 mirrorless Nikon cameras – the z6 ii which have dual slots for memory card back up, I also have 3 Nikon D750 camera bodies, I have all Nikon lenses which cover a wide range; 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 24-70mm and 70-200mm, I also have a collection of speed-lights, triggers, and endless batteries and memory cards!

To edit I use Mac computers, and Lightroom and Photoshop.

Are all images edited?

Yes, every image I take goes through a careful editing process. Firstly all images will be uploaded to Lightroom, where I will do the initial ‘cull’ where I will remove any images that are duplicates or not needed, then I will apply a basic edit and do any cropping, colour correcting to each image, then I do a final edit of each image individually in photoshop where I will do anything I feel is needed to make the image the best it can be.

Do you offer a pre wedding shoot?

Yes, a pre wedding shoot is available to add to your wedding photography package if you wish, I find that pre wedding sessions are usually best for couples who are may be a bit anxious or shy at the thought of being in front of camera. It can also be a great to have the images to use for your wedding, as a keep sake like on a guest signing board or guest book, or just nice to have some more images to look back on of you both together!

What is the booking process?

Firstly where possible I will suggest we meet up and have an initial consultation where we chat about your big day, and you can look through my wedding albums, and view more of my work. This can sometimes help meeting in person as you get a feel for if you can see me being part of your day, as well as finding out a little more about the style and way in which I work. I can also offer zoom/telephone appointments for those who live out of area.

After we meet/chat if you decide i’m the photographer for you, I will pop all of your details into my online system, I will require a £150 deposit to secure your date and package, once received I will email you over your conformation and all of the details as well as an electronic contract for you to read through and sign.

Whats happens after we book?

After that I am just here when you need me! Any questions, advice or help just get in touch, I am more than happy to help were I can. A few months before the date I will email over questionnaires for you to fill in online which will cover everything I need to know about your day, from timings, guests and suppliers. I we will then put together a group list for your day for you. Some couples may feel they need to meet up again before the wedding to go over all of the details and this is fine too.

Then we are all set! I will pop you a message before the wedding confirming the time and place I will be meeting you, then I will see you on your wedding day.

What if you're ill / dead?

I promise I will try my absolute best not to be ill or die on or before your wedding day! But I know sometimes these things are out of our control. Thankfully it hasn’t happened yet.

I can assure you it would have to be very serious to keep me away from your wedding, but in such an event I am very lucky to be connected and know a large network of professional photographers who I can call upon in an emergency.

How long until I receive my wedding images?

This can vary a lot depending on how busy I am at the time of your wedding, Typically you could be waiting anything from 3 weeks to 6 weeks.

If I am out photographing wedding after wedding the editing pile can easy add up, especially in peak wedding season and I want to give every wedding the same care in editing as any other, so the editing will take as long as it takes. There is unfortunately no quick fix button for your images to all be edited instantly (although that would be amazing!) I also edit every image myself, I don’t outsource editing.

I will always get your images to you as soon as I possibly can, I am not a photographer who will keep hold of your images for months and months on end, as soon as I am up to date on editing one wedding, I will be on to editing the next, I have a real dislike and inability to settle when I have images there that need editing! and would rather have many late nights than leave them there, I can’t wait for you to have them, and will aim to do so as quick as possible!

How many images will I receive

You will receive all of the best images from your wedding day, I won’t hold anything back! Usually this will mean no less than 500 images.
